MISSING. Performance October 2010.

I asked passers-by for the name of someone missing from their lives yet who is still alive. In addition, they had to give me two words describing the person or the relationship. Turned out to be a very sad piece; the weight of all those names; all that loss. And yet this would be an incantation to the missing. The never-quite-gone possibility of them coming back.
